Scope: Project logistics for Hunan Power Construction’s full-plant BOP installation, Saudi Qassim II 1,800 MW Gas-Turbine CCGT Project; ocean to Dammam/Jubail, SABER documentation, heavy/OOG delivery to Qassim II site.Project Site: Qassim, Saudi Arabia
Cargo Volume: 10591.00 CBM
Scope of Operations: Ex-tackle discharge of heavy-lift cargo from breakbulk vessel. The primary cargo consists of large power transformers and their accessories, handled via direct ship-to-truck transfer. According to the vessel schedule, hydraulic modular trailers are positioned at the quayside, awaiting loading directly from the ship's crane onto the transport vehicles. Upon exiting the port, the cargo is transported directly to the Qassim Project Site for subsequent installation work. On-site installation is carried out using the jack-and-slide method to place the transformer onto the pre-completed transformer foundation.
